Verses for Troubling Times

My family has been going through some chaotic and troubling times recently and I've been turning to the Bible to find help, reassurance and wisdom about these situations. Here's some things I've found recently that have helped me out immensely:

God has big plans for you. He created you for a purpose. Whatever you are believing for, keep believing! Stand strong and fight the good fight of faith. Ask God to give you endurance, perseverance and patience so that you can see His promises fulfilled in the life He has given you! "You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised." - Hebrews 10:36 (NIV)

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." - 2nd Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)

Enjoy prosperity while you can, but when hard times strike, realize that both come from God. Remember that nothing is certain in this life. - Ecclesiastes 7:14 (NLT)

The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him - Nahum 1:7 (NIV)

Also, I know the application on Facebook called God Wants You to Know - it gives you a daily "message from God" - is a random thing but it always seems to have good things to say - here was today's message I got. I think we've all felt this way at some time or another:

God wants you to know...that the weight you carry on your shoulders is much too heavy for one human being. Give some of that weight where it belongs - to God - and have faith that what happens is for the best, whether you understand it or not.
