TOS Review: Homeschool Library Builder

Photobucket

Our family loves books. When we go to the library, we usually check out at least seven books. Usually more! And that's just for a week or so! Everybody in our house is always reading something. And as homeschoolers, we use many different kinds of books for our schooling - for history read alouds, pleasure reading, learning to read practice/readers, reference books...the list goes on. When the library doesn't have the books we require, it can be expensive to purchase them - so a website who's tagline is: "Fill your bookshelves without emptying your wallet!" sounds a-ok to me! :)

Homeschool Library Builder is a website that offers tons of different kinds of books at cheap prices. Their website is very easy to navigate. You can search for books by curriculum (such as Heart of Dakota, Five in a Row, Sonlight, etc.), by your child's age or just by genre. They also have a Vintage/Hard to Find category which is good for those difficult to locate living books. I browsed through the website for quite awhile and they did have really low prices, compared to other places I have looked at.

When you subscribe to their free newsletter, you'll gain access to a free e-book, children's activities, and a note of encouragement. If you choose to become a member of their website (it's free also!), you then have the opportunity to earn book points (each dollar you spend earns you a book point & 15 book points = $1) through a variety of ways, and you'll receive emails about their specials and sales before they happen. Be sure to check out their website - during the month of May all items are 25% off their already low prices!
