Giveaway: Kobieta Birthing Skirt

Another day, another giveaway! Today I'm sharing another Etsy shop with you, Kobieta! It has been in operation for over 8 years online and is run by a lovely lady named Nikki, who has a lifetime of experience in sewing and design. (And 100% positive feedback every place I looked!) She was inspired to open Kobieta after her own frustration at finding stylish comfortable clothing for plus size women. If it was cute, it was usually too small. Or if she would by chance find something nice in a plus size then it might only fit her bust and look like a sack in the waist or be too short. After talking with many women of many sizes, she realized this was universal problem - from the tiny petite to the extra extra larges. (Oh so true, as myself and my many differently sized friends have lamented!) So she decided she wanted clothing that would fit her, curves and all, and fit her well.....and she wanted to share that vision with women all sizes, from the smallest frame to largest. Kobieta is dedicated to the ideal that no matter what size, age or figure; a woman can feel proud, beautiful and strong.

Kobieta offers a wide variety of different types of items, from workout wear to maternity to sleepwear and dresses - and it's all made to order, to fit your personal measurements. From right to left in the pictures above you can see just a few of the items she has to offer: nursing/breastfeeding dress, ruched shirt with a cowl neck, and plus size peasant dress.

For the Bloggy Blessingway, Nikki is very graciously offering a certificate to her store for one custom birth skirt, as seen in the picture above. It will be made to fit your measurements and whatever color you prefer from her list of colors. Here's some more information about the birthing skirt:
The Kobieta Birthing Skirt was developed to accommodate all variety of positions used to labor and birth. It is perfect for home, water births, birthing center or hospital and helps the laboring mama retain modesty while being completely comfortable (unlike those horrid hospital gowns that I personally found to feel like they are choking you and tangle up with every move). My design uses a drawstring to adjust to the perfect position on your hips.....underneath the belly for anyone needing hospital monitoring. The drawstring is threaded through securely attached metal eyelets. The sides are completely layered over each other but split all the way to the waist and slide apart easily so that positions like birthing balls, squatting or birthing stools are able to be used. Paired with a sports bra or tank, you can use a birthing skirt to enjoy full mobility and comfort in a time you need it most! No pinching, no binding, just buttery soft jersey against your sensitive skin and with the design made to be worn under the belly...nothing against the midsection at all.
These are so neat! I may just have to put one of them on my Christmas list! If you'd like to see more, check out Kobieta on Etsy. She's also on Facebook and Twitter. To enter the giveaway, please check out the Rafflecopter form below.
