Happies & Crappies

I’m joining up with The Vintage Modern Wife & Scissors and a Whisk to share some Happies & Crappies from my week!

CRAPPIES (As always, I do the crappies first to get them out of the way.)

- Ellie had a rough day yesterday. Not only did she eat two entire, whole packs of gum that she swiped out of the diaper bag, she also got onto my Kindle and somehow bought a movie. *headdesk* Granted, it was just $15…but still! Argh.

- The kids have had the sniffles and a little bit of a cough. Zeke actually got diagnosed with laryngitis last week and had a round of antibiotics but is still coughing some.

- I started doing the #HEDUAhomeschool #InstaChallenge, got behind, and missed several days. Going to try and catch up but I hate how that always seems to happen.

- Zac had his six month check up this week and was deemed “pretty perfect.” He was 16.7 pounds and 25 and 1/2 inches long. He has 4 teeth and is working on 4 more, which the pediatrician assured me was totally fine. (Since I was like SDOIFJSDOFJSDF Y SO MANY TEETH?!?) We’re still breastfeeding and discussed Baby Led Weaning as far as food goes. Mister Zac is at or above all of his little goals or development skills and only cried for a tiny bit after his shots.

- We are back in our bedroom! (In case you’re new around these parts – we’ve been renovating our house after we didn’t plan on renovating {long story} and haven’t been in our bedroom for months.) Pictures to come but we temporarily (for a few days) stayed in Ellie’s room and then moved back in to ours.

- We went to the zoo last week (again, pictures to come!) and the kids are still talking about it!
