Halloween Kid-Made Sweet Treats

Looking for some simple and easy snacks to make with your kiddos this Halloween? These could not be easier or more fun!

Spider Cookies
- Chocolate sandwich cookies (would be really cool with the Halloween themed Oreos!)
- Red licorice candy (we used peel and pull Twizzlers)
- Candy dots (or some other circle shaped candy, like M&Ms, Skittles, Nerds)
- Frosting

To assemble: Cut your licorice candy into smaller pieces for the "legs." Pull apart the sandwich cookie. Insert 4 "legs" on each side and put the cookie back together. (You can use a dab of frosting to make them stick if needed.) Spread frosting onto the back of the candy dots and stick them on top of the cookie. (My kiddos kind of just smushed the frosting on top of the cookies but if you wanted to make it more neat you could!)

Monster Teeth
- Mini marshmallows
- Peanut butter (or whatever nut butter you prefer)
- Apples, sliced

To assemble: Slice your apples lengthwise to make long pieces. Apply peanut butter to one slice. Stick approximately 5-6 mini marshmallows in a row on top of the peanut butter for the "teeth." (They can be as straight or as crazy as you'd like!) Then apply peanut butter to another slice of apple and squish it down on top of the marshmallows.
