Oh good, I'm glad I'm not the only one! We love to enjoy our tree & decorations so we usually do put them up earlier than most.

I put up our tree the day after Thanksgiving and fully intended to put the tree up on the weekend but life got in the way. I plan on doing it Wednesday evening. I told my british Dad that I was putting up the tree and I got silence on the other end of the phone. Then "It isn't even December" said with an air of disgust. What is the big deal? I love Christmas and lights and celebrating. I don't want my 3 year old to be all bah humbub. (i am venting sorry) Good for you I say.

Being a british ex-pat we never celebrated Thanksgiving obviously, so I have adopted my hubby's traditions. Turkey, potatoes, trimmings and everyone saying what they are thankful for around the table
